Rare early Mahogany Eastlake style circa mid to last 3rd quarter 19th Century Chicago parlor table , 30" H x 28" bottom top 4 sided beveled mahagony ,with original paint finish sloppy black ebony paint dripping on bottom edges of top 5 Fantail violin at each ends of bottom shelf.

the side table version of more common square topped Eastlake Chicago manufacturer that used same ornate ,turned legs square model , the violin bottom shelf, 4 victorian style routed skirt's each side under top.

All construction uses many of pre 1900 flat head screws holds skirts &bottom shelf to legs.
Very solid ,no wobbling , the only place that shows wear to 140 yr + finish is to top.
Modern dealers speed up this honest top wear w sanding to get instant distressed look sought by decorators .
