8-day time and strike mantle clock made by Sessions Clock Company (Forestville, Connecticut) circa 1925 and is the Supreme model.
The mahogany finish case style is Tambour or Napoleon Hat.
It has a 5-inch silver dial, a gold plated sash, and a silver bezel.
The strikes are on a cathedral gong on the hour counting the hour and on the half hour a single strike.
Includes double-sided key - time adjustment (fast/slow) is from the front of the clock with key, as well as the weekly winding of the time/strike springs.
The width is about 19 inches and the height about 9 1/2 inches.
It has the original label on the back, which has the faint marking of the model name.
A catalog in 1925 has a listing price of $14.
75 for this clock.
If the silver dial was white, it would have been cheaper at $13.
75.
The clock is fully functional and keeps time well.
$125.
