For your consideration is a beautiful maple Birdseye dresser with mirror.
I believe this to be circa 1920's or 1930's.
The dresser has a removable mirror (with a screwdriver), two small drawers and two large drawers.
The drawers are dovetailed.
The dresser is in beautiful condition overall.
There are really no scratches or gouges on the wood surface and the dresser is sturdy and structurally sound.
The counter surface really "sparkles" in the light.
The drawers all open and work as they should, and all very clean inside.
The dresser does have a couple small cosmetic flaws but are barely noticeable.
First, the counter surface has a couple small 'dents' in the surface in the left lower side.
Second, there are a couple small wood splits of the bottom drawer frame on the left side.
A repair was made on this but it still needs some wood glue and a c-clamp applied to smooth out the repair.
I may do this myself soon if I get a chance.
This dresser also has a great piece of its past still attached - it has an old shipping tag attached to the rear of the dresser that appears to show its original owner - Mr.
J.
A.
Edwards of Oxford, New York as being the addressee.
The tag contains the name "Coventry & Evans Furniture" as the addressor, with an address of 119 and 121 Geneses Street, Utica, NY.
