Child Care Worker

*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Must be at least 25 years of age.
* Demonstrable experience in cooking and child care.
* Must always ensure a safe and secure environment for clients and fellow employees.
* Must pass a background check regarding driving history and possess a valid New Mexico Driver’s License.
* This position is subject by law to finger printing and must pass a rigorous criminal/character background investigation.
* Supports and efficiently carries out responsibilities in accordance with El Ranchito de los Niño’s, Inc.
, Policies and Procedures.
* Supports and carries out responsibilities in accordance with ERDLN, NMCCCA and CYFD Standards.
* Represents El Ranchito de los Niño’s, Inc.
, in a manner reflecting professionalism while working to enhance community understanding of the program.
* Protects the confidentiality of ERDLN children & personnel information.
* Maintains a high personal standard of professional and ethical conduct.
Performs assigned duties with the primary intent and purpose of carrying out the commitments ofERDLN, Inc.
* Takes responsibility for knowing and implementing the goals, objectives, method, and activities incorporated in current funding documents.
* Demonstrates keen observation skills: * Observes strengths and needs of the children.
* Recognizes behavior and/or development of children deviating from the expected norms.
House cleaning * Cooking/Meal Preparation * Laundry * Provide input to House Parents on behavior issues of children * Properly supervise and guide the children, while providing healthy boundaries * Provide input into children’s plans * Pass medications as prescribed and log in Medication Administration Record * Assist in transportation needs of children using agency vehicles * Participate and Involve volunteers in activities with children * Provides information regarding child’s visitations and appointments * Help with low cost/free activities for the children.
* Supervise animal care of indoor as well as larger animals.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.
00 - $15.
