Essential tasks: Under general direction, build, configure, monitor, and utilize innovative troubleshooting techniques for systems,
databases, files and network servers.
Ensures network connectivity and identifies hardware equipment and configuration needs for routers
and switches.
Monitors system security, including identifying system vulnerabilities, and incident response, as well as logging and
monitoring centralized systems.
Utilizes change control methods for system software updates.
Monitors software licenses and administers
software firewalls, knowledge of VPN configuration.
Performs and monitors server backups and recovery procedures, and inventory or
storage management of media used, to include system capacity planning.
Researches the latest technology, tools, systems, network security,
computer software methodologies, and conducts diverse software, and hardware installations.
Maintains development server environment to
facilitate the flow of software and system projects through development, test and production stages.
Designs, tests, maintains and plans for
modification, replication and/or migration of replacement network systems.
Implements plans for automating fully integrated systems,
including operating, network and database systems and applications, and business continuity assessments.
Ensures operating system software
is properly installed, tested and configured for maximum operating efficiency and performance.
Utilizes documentation tools for processes
and procedures of server administration, and monitors and tracks web environment usage.
Maintains development server environment to
facilitate the flow of software and systems projects through development, test and production stages.
Possess knowledge of Cisco server
operating systems and services.
Have the ability to get along with others and to work under stress.
May perform other duties as assigned to
meet the operational needs of the Court.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration,
Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Engineering, or a related field.
Education Substitution: Four (4) years of
directly related or relevant experience, may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: None.
Post-offer background
history and fingerprint check is required.
The New Mexico Judicial Branch is requiring full vaccination status as a condition of
employment to being hired into the judiciary.
Working Conditions: The following functions are representative, but not all-inclusive of the work environment and physical demands an

Work is performed in an office or court setting.
A valid driver's
license and travel may be required.
The assigned work schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
The employee must
regularly interact positively with co-workers, clients, the public, and judges and justices.
