Position: Java Developer
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $100,000 - $109,000 per year
Clearance: Clearable to Q
KeyLogic is seeking a Java Developer to support the IT program at a major national laboratory.
You will receive tasks from a variety of sources to include Email, IM, phone, stand up meetings, and ticketing systems.
You will self-identify projects and also receive them from the customers.
The majority of your work will be with a team using agile methods for software development.
You will perform java development, testing, work directly with customers to get requirements and create stories, and keep project documentation up to date.
The majority of your work will be the development and maintenance of PTC Windchill, PDMlink customization, and configurations using Java.
Candidate must be located in Albuquerque, NM by start date as the majority of work will need to be done onsite.
*Responsibilities:*
On any given day, you may be called on to:
* Enhance new features or develop fixes for existing PDM system.
* Analyze design, develop, and software solutions.
* Evaluate, test, and analyze implementation, functionality, performance, and tools of information system solutions, ensuring that requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
* Participate in design and testing reviews.
* Deliver technology solutions across the spectrum of mission area.
* Propose and participate in internal and enterprise development efforts.
* Team with a diverse group across varied fields to support product definition releases.
* Generate automated tests to verify new software functionality.
* Communicate effectively via both verbal and written means with internal and external customers to understand their technical needs.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or software development plus 6 or more years of experience as a software developer or software engineer
* In lieu of a degree, an additional 6 years of experience is required.

Citizenship is required per Contract to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
* Experience Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Oracle, and SQL.
* Work onsite – candidate must be located in Albuquerque, NM
*Desired:*
* Experience with software testing (verification and validation) process
* Experience in PTC's Windchill application suite and related/supporting components.
* Experience supporting COTS tools, including PLM software.
* Experience with Jira, SVN, GitLab, Jenkins
* Knowledge of configuration management practices
* Experience in software design, engineering and development skills, including familiarity with modern software development practices and tools.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills leading to solid experience with problem identification, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment, including sound technical communication.
* Experience in practicing Agile methodologies (e.
g.
Scrum)
* Experience creating and running tests to assess compliance with customer requirements.
* Ability to understand, assess and implement processes to meet cyber requirements for computer systems, software, and networks.
* Experience participating with requirements decomposition and providing user story level effort estimations.
* Experience with debug tools and techniques for analysis and data collection
* Experience working on one or more US Government programs.
* Active DOE Q-level clearance or equivalent
