Position: Systems Engineer
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $110,200 - $120,200 per year
Clearance: Clearable to Q
KeyLogic is looking for a Systems Engineer to work on a vibrant, high-productivity team developing leading-edge computational simulation capabilities for multi-year, multimillion-dollar projects in large-scale parallel simulation for electrical problems.
The successful candidate will work in an innovative, multidisciplinary team environment that conducts research in modern parallel computing, advanced numerical algorithms, and novel physical modeling techniques, and will help to promote the resulting research to production-level software.
Responsibilities:
Provide front-line support for Xyce’s (a subset of the RAMSES suite) customers.
Assist the customers to diagnose various problems ranging from simple syntax or build/install errors to deep SPICE feature-related issues.
Provide circuit design improvement suggestions as appropriate and route the unresolved issues to the appropriate Xyce developer for further assistance.
Update and improve documentation as needed.
Develop a system for understanding users’ experience with the RAMSES suite of codes.
Use electrical engineering knowledge to help users with their code support for Xyce with triaging and/or immediate help to reduce downtime for users
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience in Computer Science.
In lieu of a degree, 6 additional years of experience totaling 9 years of related job experience is applicable.

Citizenship is required per Contract to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
Department of Energy Q security clearance.
Experience with development and testing within UNIX/Linux environment.
Experience with simulation of electrical circuits
A demonstrated ability to develop and communicate ideas and results in oral and written form and to work in a team environment.
Desired:
Experience using Gitlab or other issue-tracking software.
Experience with scripting languages (such as python)
Experience working across multiple OS types (Windows, Mac, Linux variants)
Knowledge of C++ programming language
Experience using formal software engineering processes (in particular Agile processes)
Desire and ability to work in cross-functional teaming environment.
Experience using electrical simulation software especially in high-performance computing (HPC) environment.
