What Your Job Will Be Like
We are seeking a Technical Graduate Student Intern to support the Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) Department.
On any given day, you may be called on to: Capture requirements, develop and test software and/or reports, and perform software and/or reporting planning and release activities.
Apply user-centered design methodology to develop usable software products and services.
Plan and conduct research on multiple aspects of products and experiences.
Collaborate across teams.
Attend daily standups and meetings.
Qualifications We Require You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements: Earned bachelor's degree Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited graduate program Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.

citizenship Qualifications We Desire Knowledge of any of the following: Ability to work with the Microsoft Office Suite Database Concepts SQL Server Report Development Tableau PowerBI Visual Studio Oracle SharePoint Development, programming/software development, testing, SQL, Oracle SQL Familiarity with SNL Processes and Tools such as, CET, Confluence, EBI Portal, ITSM, ServiceNow, MRSO Experience with project management Experience with agile software development practices and methodologies Ability to work independently or in conjunction with others Demonstrated knowledge of technical principles and processes.
Understanding of and demonstrated use of a variety of technical tools.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team enviroment.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management.
Extensive knowledge of a suite of software, including microsoft office.
Ability to model behaviors that reflect Sandia's Core Values.

NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
