Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Cyber Security, analyzes, designs, and delivers on IT security-related activities.

Major Responsibilities/Activities: Assists the Director of Cyber Security in developing, implementing, and testing computer security, incident response, and disaster recovery plans, policies and procedures.
Makes recommendations to IT Operations and Infrastructure teams in design of network and application security to industry best practices to prevent fraud, waste, or abuse of privilege including, but not limited to, the principles of least access, segregation of duties, and self-documenting administration.
Reviews and audits network, application, and user configuration to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks including, but not limited to, MICS and PCI.
Manually, or through automated processes, monitors application, OS, and network event logs for evidence of misconfiguration or intrusion.
Designs, implements, maintains, and pro-actively monitors end-point security, anti-virus, intrusion detection, mobile device management, and patch management systems.
In coordination with IT management conducts non-intrusive and intrusive testing to validate system security.
Prepares and maintains records and documentation for assigned activities, internal audits, and external audits.
Provides IT security training to end users regarding information technology systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience required.
Four (4) years’ experience in network administration, systems administration, or network engineering in an enterprise environment required.
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MICS, PCI, and NIST required.
ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner certification or higher required.
Prior experience in a casino IT environment preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
