_Sign Estimator/Project Assistant_
ARI Graphix & Signs is a growing, fast-paced environmental graphics and sign company with in-house production that is searching for an Estimator/Project Assistant.
We are searching for a person who will take ownership of projects from start to finish and understands that they are responsible for achieving the desired outcome.
The right person will have a high level of commitment, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn and grow.
An inquisitive mind, combined with high attention to detail are keys to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Review & understand construction documents, architectural plans & specifications, and scope of work to develop competitive bids.
Review RFQs/Bid Invitations from potential clients; select appropriate projects to provide proposals for based on our company capabilities.
Submit RFQs/Bids on deadline.
Execute bid takeoff and material pricing estimates in a timely manner.
Manage awarded projects from time of award to completion.
Bid follow up/Change orders.
Maintain good working relationships with Contractor/Vendor relations.
Communicate and collaborate with clients, sales, design, production, accounting, and the vendor community.
Occasionally travel to participate in field meetings, as well as oversee installations.
Take on occasional production or installation tasks to help complete your projects when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Must have strong organizational skills and be willing to follow through with the assigned tasks.
Ideal candidate will have a background in construction, signage or other related fields.
Dedicated, self-motivated and self-disciplined individual who is committed to maintaining both quality and quantity in output.
Focused on follow through, sees opportunities and tasks from start to completion.
Strong attention to detail with thoroughness to dig for details to acquire information, able to document and effectively communicate information to team members and clients.
Must be organized, able to multitasking and have time-management skills.
There is a steep industry and software (internal systems and processes) learning curve, candidate must have an aptitude and willingness to learn, being teachable is paramount.
Ability to read and understand construction software such as Bluebeam and Adobe.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Basic math and technical writing skills required.

Pay: $16.
