Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Quality Inspector.
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll perform all duties of an “A” level inspector.
Makes visual and measured inspection of structural components to ensure conformance with standards.
Verifies specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
Complies with all safety rules and procedures.
Maintains and completes all required records.
Location: Belen, NM
What you’ll do:
Read drawings and blueprints
Perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measurement instruments and inspection equipment
Perform and oversee visual weld inspection
Complete inspection records and reports
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to operate the following equipment: micrometer, gauges, calipers, tape lines, computer.
2 or 3 years of experience
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Ability to function as a team member
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Working Conditions:
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, M-F
Overtime and Overtime on Saturdays, as needed
